It looks like the AC55 is not a fit. I just heard from ElectroAuto that:
There are problems with the AC55 motor in a FWD vehicle. First, we
do not have a suitable gearbox, so there is no reasonable way to
connect the motor to the drive axles. Second, on many vehicles, even
with a manual transmission, the diameter of the motor physically
interferes with the axles. I cannot recommend this system for this vehicle.
The 97 RAV that used the AC55 had to remove some cooling fins because the fit was so tight. I’ll try him again - maybe he can give me some guidance.
I’m back to MetricMind or a DC system.
