I’ve got an offer to tow a trailer, but still no trailer. I’ll line up a rental as a backup. Please let me know if you have a trailer to loan.

Aaron from AustinEV hooked me up with a reporter from the Austin-American Statesman. He’s interested in tracking the conversion process of the RAV and plans to join us for the ICE removal. I’m excited (and a little nervous) to be in the spotlight. That (and Laura’s pet project tolerance half-life) should keep pressure on the schedule
BTW: I just noticed that I had comments from December waiting on moderation. I’ll turn off the moderation feature and turn on auto-SPAM filtering. Comments are welcome!

I’ve confirmed the date, time, and location for removing the RAV ICE (aka gas engine). You’re invited to witness turning a perfectly functional car into a temporarily undrivable iron shell.
It will be this SUNDAY 1/28 @ 1:30 PM. The location is Repco @ 3015 Industrial Ter (aka 1706 Hydro Drive, 78725) which off research just east of MoPac, off Liberty just before Burnett ). This is a garage so tools should not be a problem, but your welcome to bring some. Cameras are encouraged.
HOWEVER: I need a car trailer or tow! Can anyone help me get the glider home? I live about 10 miles away near Zilker park. We are expecting it to take about 3 hours.
Everyone is welcome. Please RSVP by posting a comment to this post.
