A crimp in my style

The loaner crimper from EV America came today. The crimper is used to put the fasteners on the ends of the 0/2 (very fat) battery wires. I’ll have some “useful” pictures once I start connecting the batteries.
I also got the bill for my batteries (ug). At least that’s the last of the major $ items.

Here’s another twist on EV’s powering the grid: EV = Home UPS

Another reminder that there really is very little difference between an EV and a UPS. The EV just happens to be more portable. It also reminds me of Robert A Heinlein’s Shipstones from Friday which powered everything from cars to voluptuous robots and spaceships.
