Steel yourself! Battery boxes are taking shape.

I was “down south” yesterday and was able to buy the 2″ angle steel from SMS Metals (Industrial & St Elmo). They also did most of my cuts for $0.50 each. It was much (much!) cheaper to buy there in bulk than Home Depot. I paid $65 for 40′ of angle and 10′ of 1″ square.

I’m working on a drawing with the dimensions that I’ll post soon.
