50 hour milestone (50% complete?)

Not 50 miles per hour, just 50 hours. My original estimate was 100 hours total conversion time and I just logged my 50th hour. That’s approximately 3 months of calendar time and also 50% of my original 6 month estimate.
Of course, a 50% complete EV is no more drivable than a 1% complete EV.

Prime Time: battery boxes are complete

I stopped by Paul’s house today and he finished welding the boxes for me. I’ve got to test fit and drill holes. Then I can prime and paint the boxes before final installation. Paul suggested that I use Rust-Oleum primer before I paint (with Rust-Oleum enamel).
Here are the final boxes. I’ll call out the dimensions in the final photos.
