Open Garage

We had a very successful OG today and the rain held off just long enough for us to complete work. Tom (photo with heat gun), Gerron, and Alex (photo crimping with Chris) with some direction from Chris were a huge help building the battery cables for the rear box. I’ll take photos and more carefully document the crimping process later.

I also cut out an extra support for the rear box. I’m worried that the rear deck is too flimsy to support the batteries. The support extends past the sides of the current box so the weight rides on the frame. Chris is welding it so there are no photos yet.

Eric's EV

As usual, Erik B (with his EV below) and Chris had excellent advice about how many items (venting boxes, aux battery, charger, etc) and I’ll describe those as I go about implementing them.

Some people have asked about my current employer. It’s NovusEdge - a 40 person startup that makes physical access control software. I’m their Chief Architect.
